Home Away From Home would not be the same without its picturesque Newfoundland fishing village
setting. Petty Harbour was built and has been sustained mainly by the inshore cod fishery. Fishing activity for more than
500 years includes crab, lobster, lumpfish and cod. Home Away From Home has been built on Petty Harbours Main
Road, the inn overlooking the harbour. Guests are able to experience the sights and sounds of the community. As well as relax
and have an enjoyable time.

You will be greeted by hosts Cynthia & Barry Hearn, who offers the hospitality
for which Newfoundland is renowned. Cynthia & Barry will direct you to local events, points of interest, recommend restaurants
and strive to make for a memorable stay.
